Another successful foundation course was run last week. Its the first step on the coaching ladder and an important one, so well done to all involved.
Donal Dowling has come on board as the Secretary for the Coaching and Development (C&D) and has already had a very positive impact.
The Friday evening striking sessions will finish this Friday evening. Well done to all who took part, and as some of the coaches have commented that they have seen a huge improvement in some of the players striking.
We would like to remind all prospective coaches and volunteers to ensure you have the vetting and safeguarding complete. Contact Karen Jordan if you have any queries.
Next up are the Summer camps and work is currently ongoing. Dates have been agreed and parents can book places in the June Cúl Camp. Booking will be open for our August camp at a later date. Our camps will be held on the following dates.

The C&D will run another coaching workshop in June with the date and time TBC. Details will be announced closer to the time, but we are excited to say we will have a coach from the Irish Boxing High Performance team and we will be looking at running techniques and how to get the best from your team and your coaches.
As the club grows, activities are increasing so it is important for teams to keep the C&D informed of any activities they want to plan. Please just run it past the C&D as it may be something that’s already booked. On a separate note when we do have events can we encourage as many coaches to attend so we can share information going forward.
