Our adult and CCC2 hurlers were in action this week-end and had a good opener with the majority of teams winning their games. It was 2 wins from 3 with our adult hurlers with good wins for our AHL4 and 7 sides. Our Feile squad also had a very good start to the season with a win at home over Setanta which sets them up nicely for the second round tie against St Vincents on the 10th March.
In other news our hard working Healthy Club Officer received the official Healthy Club plaque on behalf of the club on Saturday morning! Our CCC1 hurlers welcomed Mungret of Limerick to Loreto College on Saturday for a few games before they headed to Croke Park. Our 2015 group were also spotted behind the goal in Davin End as Limerick put on a show against the Dublin hurlers. Our Under 12 and u13s camogs had two great challenge games this morning with Clane GAA. The girls played with great sportsmanship and skill, with some tough tackling thrown in. Fair play to the Kevins parents who put on a great spread after as all enjoyed the sandwiches and lovely treats after the game.
We go again next week with CCC1 hurling and return of Camogie action! We are fielding over 30 teams again in 2024 as well as a vibrant nursery and a plan to develop handball.
